Can you shoot with animals?
Say less! Animals are always welcome. Just let me know before hand, and keep in mind your location if animals are allowed.
Do you only shoot at certain locations? What time is best to shoot?
Absolutely not! There are several locations that come to mind when you tell me the look, and vibe you are going for, but I'm always willing to try something new. The best times to shoot are early morning (sunrise), and right before sunset (golden hour). The exact times for this will change throughout the year, and some locations photograph better at different times of the day. When we discuss your photoshoot, we will decide this together!
Is there a deposit required?
Yes, when you book an appointment with me there is a deposit required. Depending on what type of photoshoot you choose, the deposit will vary from $25-$100 to lock-in your appointment. Until the deposit is payed, your requested slot will remain open. Its non-refundable, but it is deducted from your total which is due on the day of the photoshoot.
What should I wear?
Ah yes, the age old question. I'm more than happy to give suggestions on styling for your session, but a general rule of thumb is simple, and neutral colors photograph better. It is best to stay away from loud prints, overly bright colors, or anything that's too distracting. While I appreciate everyone's personal style, please don't come with neon yellow Nike shorts. You'll thank me later ;)
When can I expect my photos? How many photos will I receive?
While I'm not able to guarantee timeframes, my turnaround for non-wedding sessions is generally 1-2 weeks. For wedding sessions, my turnaround is typically 3-4 weeks. In any instance, I keep contact with you throughout the process so you know when to expect them.
For non-wedding sessions, you will receive around 80-120 fully edited photos that are handpicked. For weddings sessions, you can expect anywhere from 500-900 fully edited photos, sometimes more depending on the complexity of your wedding day and events. In any event, rest assured that I spend a significant amount of time choosing photos that are truly the best of the bunch. Aside form including some fun candid moments and occasionally a funny blooper, I will spare you from seeing all the in-between photos with kids fingers in their nose or if someone is blinking.

What is your cancellation policy?
While the deposit is non-refundable, I understand sometimes life happens. I'm usually willing to re-schedule once without a new deposit.
Do you do out-of-state/country shoots?
A destination photoshoot? You don't need to ask me twice! Travel fees and accommodations will be discussed.
What are my options for payment?
I accept cash, Venmo, CashApp, Zelle, and Paypal. I just ask when doing an electronic payment to leave a caption that is generic (not specifying a service) or just an emoji. Electronic payment apps now charge fees for any transactions that show a service rendered.
What is your style of editing?
I love photos that are light, colorful and candid. I specialize in creating images that are crisp, bright, and timeless while providing an environment that is easy-going and stress-free. I strive to create images that feel natural, while maintaining true skin-tones. My job as a photographer is to bring out your natural beauty, and celebrate YOU! I work hard to capture your most flattering angles so that you love the way you look without the use of digital alternations.
